Some Known Bugs in Google Plus

Well! After waiting for so long, I got an access to Facebook’s new rival! Yes, I am now able to access Google’s very new social networking website. Yesterday, it took me four to five hours to explore G+ or Google+ or Google Plus I must say. I noticed that there is something in Google’s new social networking platform. Although my stream is still empty but there are some awesome features. At the same time there are some of the bugs, glitches and shortcomings in Google+. That’s the only reason some changes are coming to GooglePlus.

Google-plus

I am hoping that these changes would curb the following bugs in G+. First of all the invitation process is not working fine sometimes which is very very annoying. Google says you can’t do that but sometimes I and many other users can do it. Before listing the known bugs in Google Plus, add me to your circles.

So my first impression is that Google+ is awesome and it would definitely beat Facebook. Of course Google Plus is still in beta and working pretty fine but there are some minor bugs in new social networking platform from Google. One major bug came two days ago but Google promised to fix it very soon, in fact it has been fixed already.

One more thing please, if you are dying to get an invite then email me your email addresses, I will send you the invites. Below is the list of bugs I and my friends and other users faced. I have managed to compiled 16 of them, there could be more but I am just listing them down!

  • First of all the navigation! Yes, it has some issues, there should be a back button which should be linked to G+ homepage. I think Google Plus users would agree with me!

  • There is an injection bug as well, yes, while working with G-talk plug in, you can’t see chat windows as tabs.

  • Another Injection Bug is there: While working with G-talk, settings are not effective. Like if you change sound to off it doesn’t shows up.

  • I think Google+ needs a redesign, I can too much space is wasted, it should come up with more options when homepage is loaded.

  • Blunder! I can’t my Gmail contacts in “Find and Invite” option. Wow! Like I can see Hotmail and Yahoo! but nothing from Gmail.

  • As I am in Pakistan! So I can’t add my phone number to receive notifications as text messages. This is a must must feature.

  • Invitation option is available but working with a lots of delay! Anyone of you experienced that?

  • Another major bug! All you have to do is add a person to your G+ stream to keeping on adding him many times. Wow!

  • There is no AJAX in G-talk search people text box. Nice bug Google!

  • You can’t add location more than once! You may only add it once!

  • I am not sure of this but I think all the videos are mentioned as photos. lol.

  • Now this one is funny, there is an option to send an email to yourself (although this option is disabled). Amazingly it doesn’t work!

  • Surprisingly that “email” option is not available on your friend’s wall.

  • it doesn’t work, the network connection for media.

  • Hangout worked fine but I wasn’t able to invite anyone! I was the only one staring at the screen! To put it short hangout doesn’t work!

  • Have you ever tried dragging people to some circle? Keep on doing for ten minutes you won’t be able to do more.

These were the bugs, shortcomings and glitches I experienced! I am expecting more bugs in the comments section!

If I click find people I get a list of contacts to choose from.
If I drag one of these contacts into a circle the contact sometimes disappears from the list of contacts to choose from, this is a good thing as it makes it a lot easier to work out who you have already moved.
However sometimes the contact is left visible on the find people page? There seems to be no logic in which users remain visible and which are moved.

    Also

I shared a video with one of my circles and only the top half is displayed? No apparent reason why.

Sometimes google+ will also cease to allow you to click on a circle to edit, delete or view its occupants.

    These bugs occur frequently.
