Apple Wants To Replace Your Faulty First Gen iPod Nanos

Wow! This is something exciting and sad (sort of) at the same time. Apple is asking you to replace your first generation iPod Nanos due to faulty batteries. Apple offered some faulty devices back in 2009 in Korea but this offer is not for those devices. This offer is for all the iPod users worldwide who purchased devices from September 2005 to December 2009, initially this was offered to US users only but later they offered it for the users across the globe. Now what Apple did? They simply sent an email to the registered owners of the discussed device. I got this exclusive news from Apple; which means that the owners of first gen iPod Nano can now get a replacement as yours has a poor battery life.

Just make a note that this replacement program is just for the affected users who bought units between September 2005 and December 2006. You are advised to stop using your device right now and fill out the form and get a replaced unit as soon as possible. But it is just difficult to find out whether your device has a heating problem or not. If you have a device having battery problem then you can get a replaced one within six months.

The only reason that the replacement is taking that much because the likelihood increases as the battery ages.
