USB Data Transfer Bug in Windows 7
This post is basically targeting more problems in Windows 7. Recently we covered some critical bugs in Windows 7. This post is continuation of those bugs. Here is another one.
This problem is discussed and covered by many blogs around the globe. And folks out there has entitled their post titles very angrily.
We have already some problems in Windows 7, like battery problem in Windows 7, Microsoft denied it afterwards.
Then we came up with some annoying bugs in Windows 7.
Now what about other problems? Here is one of those problems. For your kind information Windows 7 has a USB data transfer issue as well. Strange? Let’s see below.
Softepedia notes this USB data transfer problem as:
Microsoft has made available for download two updates designed to resolve issues related to data transfer failures in computers running Windows 7. According to the Redmond company, machines with Windows Server 2008 R2 can also be impacted by problems involving failed transfers of information over USB. However, the company underlined that customers must have computers with a specific hardware configuration in order for such issues to occur. The software giant explained that machines equipped with an NVIDIA USB EHCI chipset and at least 4GB of RAM were prone to problems when end users moved data over USB.
What about the fix? Simple answer is Microsoft will fix this issue in next version of Windows.
