Digg Under DDOS Attack

Personally I am a big fan of Digg, and no doubt I get most of the traffic from Digg. But while browsing technology news I came across a very sad news for the Digg fans and rest that people are not able to Digg stories for a several hours.

Those who were attempting to Digg stories were getting an error as “token is invalid”. Number of related stories on Digg were also fading out and new stories were not appearing on Digg’s page. Some sources are saying that that Digg is under an XSS or DDOS attack.

People are facing this issue on Digg, they have never faced before, even I didn’t faced any. Sources also said that normally there are many submissions in some hours, but they found some of them.

Digg spokesperson haven’t given any statement regarding issue. And this problem seems to be critical until and unless it is fixed.
