Twitter is Under Phishing Attack
I am addicted to Twitter, are you too? Anyways, during past few months we heard about some phishing attacks spreading on Twitter. We all know that direct messages are an integral part of Twitter, but whenever you get any message asking “This you????” followed by a link then you should immediately realise that this message has been sent by hacker.

If you click the given link you are redirected to the fake Twitter login, where hackers are just waiting to get your account information. Hackers can automatically post the phishing message from your account after getting your details. If you have received a message like this from any of your friends it means that his/her account has been hacked.
The worst case scenario is that the hackers gain access to your Twitter account, and even worst is that you use same password on other websites like Gmail, Live Mail, Facebook, Bobe, Hi5, and Paypal, because hackers can gain access to all your accounts.
Be safe and choose a strong password (strong password includes alphabets, numbers, special characters), if you feel that your Twitter account is sending suspicious messages then simplest solution is just change your password immediately. Research shows that 33% of people use the same password on most of the social sites.
