Chinese cyber criminals are still operating their malware and botnet activities from their own native country and from Russia as well. In Russia it is somewhat difficult to track online attackers. Cyber criminals operates their malware and botnets by disguising users from rouge porn sites, general websites, online casinos, pharmacies and other websites.

At rough estimates, more than 5K spam domains became active in one month, M86 have tracked all of them. Russian operators operates the most popular Zeus malware botnet other one is Mumba malware. This shift to Russia seems to be very rapid.

From Russia the cyber criminals spread their botnet activities to central Europe and Asia. Europe is trying to evacuate the cyber criminals but it look very difficult to wipe them out. Who will protect the internet company? This question is unanswered. In fact no one has answer to this question.
