Trojan Hits Mac OS X (Once Again)

Hang on! Wow! I thought that Windows OS is the only home of Trojans. I was wrong as I found out that Trojan has been detected on Mac OS X. Mac OS X is considered to be the secure OS if we compare it with Windows.

This Trojan is named as “Boonana Trojan Horse”. It is now distributed on popular social networking sites including the most popular Facebook. This was informed by Nicholas Raba, he is the founder of SecureMac.com. Raba warned that this Trojan is a great threat to social networking sites. If I am not worng then I let me say that Facebook users click on links and most of the users will definitely click the rouge links.

This “Boonana Trojan Horse” can easily modify your sudo file in Mac OS X, as a result it won’t require a root password and it will execute all the commands easily. Trojan also have files, it installs them on your Mac OS X as a result opens backdoor for your Mac. “Boonana Trojan Horse” is affecting both Windows OS and Mac OS X.
