Nokia N900 Hacked To Run WebOS Games

Nokia N900 is one of the most hacked phones along with Apple’s iPad. Now again Nokia’s N900 is hacked to run WebOS games. These games are written and developed for the WebOS platform. Hackers have managed to hack Nokia N900 and they posted a video on YouTube. Video clearly shows that The Sims3 is successfully running perfectly on the N900.

This hack was done successfully because there are many similarities in Nokia N900 and Palm Pre hardware. Both the devices share an OMAP3430 processor, PowerVR SGX GPU and more importantly both have Linux based OS. Nokia N900 also gives you the support to develop applications on SDL 1.2, Palm Pre also gives you the support.

Maemo hackers also reported that they are able to hack N900 to run NFS Undercover and Let’s Golf as well. We all know that N900 doesn’t gives you the support for multi-touch so if you are trying to play any multi-touch game please avoid.
