This was expected because all previous versions allowed hackers to get into the hardware of the discussed device from Sony. We saw it when Sony released the 3.55 firmware for PS3 which actually was the security update for the device. Going beyond we saw that hackers managed to enable Blu-ray disc in 3.5o firmware.
One of the online users said that the new firmware update is a permanent ban to perform any hacking activity on the device. Now users can’t cheat or hack the game which is very obvious. In this firmware update you can access your Facebook profile.
There are some other updates as well but the major of them was the complete blockage of any jailbreaking or hacking activity.
Update 1: There is an update that the PS3 firmware 3.56 was hacked after some hours of the release. This time the device was hacked by the KaKaRoToKS community. They made an update on Twitter.
