Microsoft Fires Two Employee for Leaking Windows 8

Well, this was the most expected thing Microsoft could do to its employees. Neowin has exclusively break this story, and the news from the center is that the company in Redmond has fired two of its employees for leaking Windows 8. On one side folks are very excited and thrilled about the next OS but on the other things are not smooth. This is the policy, Microsoft has already warned its employees that company will take strict actions if anybody leaked any of the confidential software.

Two more sources have reportedly said that Microsoft has fired two of its employees over the leaks of Windows 8 builds. Not much details are known but one of the fired employee is Russian and other one is from the Redmond.

Let me tell you that up till now three official builds has been leaked, those leaked builds are 7850, 7955 and 7959. There are some unofficial builds like 7971 and 7994. Enthusiasts also created some activation tools for Windows 8 and some of them released product activation keys of Windows 8 as well. Firing anyone over the leaks is not a solution, it gives us a hint that Microsoft’s property is not safe enough. If Microsoft kept on firing its employees what would happen? Will this stop people from leaking their property?

Next OS which is supposed to be Windows 8 is still far away from the public release. Rumors says that it will be released in 2012 or in the earlier months of 2013 but yet the release date of Windows 8 is not known.
