Facebook Membership Rumor Makes a Round

Well the Facebook rumors are always here to shock most of us. Some of the innocent users gets threatened by these rumors spread by some group of hackers. The latest spam messages that are roaming on the social networking giant are about the membership. Yes, the messages says that Facebook is going to charge you between $3.99 and $9.99 per month. Wow! This is something amazing for me, then I investigated and concluded that is nothing but a joke.

Some of my friends shared this message as well but there is no point of sharing it. People are reading those spam status updates and commenting as they are surprised and afraid, some of them are calling it a joke and rightly so! This is just another trick from the cyber-crooks as they are spreading these fake and rumor oriented message just to get attraction of Facebook users.

FACEBOOK JUST RELEASED THEIR PRICE GRID FOR MEMBERSHIP. $9.99 PER MONTH FOR GOLD MEMBER SERVICES, $6.99 PER MONTH FOR SILVER MEMBER SERVICES, $3.99 PER MONTH FOR BRONZE MEMBER SERVICES, FREE IF YOU COPY AND PASTE THIS MESSAGE BEFORE MIDNIGHT TONIGHT. WHEN YOU SIGN ON TOMORROW MORNING YOU WILL BE PROMPTED FOR PAYMENT INFO…IT IS OFFICIAL IT WAS EVEN ON THE NEWS FACEBOOK WILL START CHARGING DUE TO THE NEW PROFILE CHANGES. IF YOU COPY THIS ON YOUR WALL YOUR ICON WILL TURN BLUE AND FACEBOOK WILL BE FREE FOR YOU. PLEASE PASS THIS MESSAGE ON IF NOT YOUR ACCOUNT WILL BE DELETED IF YOU DO NO PA

Now read the above message closely and think! Would Facebook ever do this kind of stupidity? Facebook is getting on our lives! Isn’t it? So how could a social networking giant launch a membership offer for their users?
