After Facebook! Pakistan Blocks YouTube and Wikipedia

You might have heard of Facebook ban in Pakistan. I think Pakistan court has taken the right decision at the right time. After Facebook it’s turn for YouTube now. Yes guys after the sad incident of blasphemous caricatures of Prophet Muhammad (P.B.U.H) Pakistan has decided to block YouTube.

According to PTA (Pakistan Telecommunication Authority) YouTube was continously monitered and PTA found some unethical and anti-Islamic content on YouTube, then came the decision to block YouTube.

Another good news for Muslims is that Wikipedia the free encyclopedia has also been blocked in Pakistan, the reason for the blockage of Wikipedia is obvious as there was “Every Draw Muhammad Day” on Wikipedia.

It has been reportedly said at BBC that Facebook had loss of 2 billion dollars, and if Pakistan doesn’t lift the ban this loss can be increased which would definitely not good for Facebook and other popular websites. Some sources said that Saudi Arabia is also in the list of blocking Facebook.
