Worst Tech Products of 2010

Let me list down the worst tech products of the year 2010. Well, I haven’t listed these products as the worst tech products of this year but Walt Mossberg did.So the worst tech products of the year 2010 are the Google TV, Dell Streak and TiVo Premiere.

Wall Street Journal also posted a video listing down the best and the worst tech products of the year 2010. Now let me discuss why these technology products are worst for the year 2010. While talking about Google TV! It was one of the biggest mistakes by the search giant.

First let me tell you why any product is considered worst. There are many reasons, one of them is the consumer’s acceptance, then comes the hardware software part of the product and finally how compatible the product is for the today’s user needs.

Dell Streak tablet is also a worst tech product for the year 2010, Dell Streak is a tweener. Streak is worst because the Android OS is just bigger than the small tablet, a so called tablet.

While coming towards the Google TV, as I said it was Google’s biggest mistake. Google TV was a geek product that is the only reason it got flop. Google TV also came up with a confusing user interface and keyboard also sucked.

TiVo Premiere also failed this year, it has a cluttered interface, it had all those shortcoming that Google TV had. TiVo can’t execute properly and its price very high.

I listed three worst tech products of 2010, to me there are more worst tech products to be considered as worst. One of them is the Philips 3D TV as well. Nokia N8 was also the product that sucks big time. I will discuss some worst tech products at some other time.
